Singer Songwriter
Chris Beardsley is a singer/songwriter living in the Nashville, Tennessee area. He is from Bristol, Connecticut where he learned the guitar and harmonica pretty much on his own after graduating from high school.
He is continually writing songs with such meaning yet he keeps them simple, if you can grasp that concept. His music is driving, melodic, dynamic and so very soulful. In bars, he mixes his own music with covers from some of his favorites. The originals and covers compliment each other very well in that type of setting.
Chris has performed solo on a regular basis at The Bitter End in New York City (prior to moving to Nashville). He has opened for The Radiators In April 1997 at the legendary Toad's Place in New Haven, Connecticut as well as performed solo there on many occasions. And, of course, we need to mention The Bluebird Cafe right here in Nashville. Chris has had the opportunity to play there during their Monday night open mic.
